There are 19 parts to this. I really enjoyed this. This is why I have no doubt that if I ever decided that I believe in God I would go back to Judaism. No other religion makes any sense to me at all.
Wow...this is awesome! I have just watched through #4. I love the question about Jesus and his geniology! I have to make sure to continue on with the rest. I just don't have the time right now. Thanks!
I knew you'd enjoy this. And please do watch the rest of it because it gets better and better and better. The minister is at his wits end by the end of this debate.
I have a question. Has it ever been proven that God actually wrote the Torah? The rabbi states that it has not been disputed, but has it ever been proven?
The reason it hasn't been disputed is because the major religions all base themselves on it. If they try to dispute it they shoot themselves in the foot. That's why I don't see this debate as proof of God's existence. I only see it as an excellent proof that Christianity cannot be the word of God IF God exists.
The proof he is talking about is the Jews witnessing the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai. Personally, my collective memory doesn't recall that. Does yours?
Okay, now I've listened through #7. I love when the Minister claims how words can have different definitions! (the word for young lady vs. virgin). And how a word written in past tense can also be interpreted as future tense!! LOL.
Yes, that surprised me as well. I don't remember hearing about all those witnesses. But, then again, I'm not that learned about Judaism (as I have admitted).
Ok my dear friend, We can dispute who wrote what- but what I'm most pleased about-don't care what influence you may have. But the hope is there, you have faith in a creator. You just made my day! :)

ReplyDeleteWell, not written by, but came from.

I never said that I have belief Annie. I said that this is why I would go back to Judaism if I ever had belief.
ReplyDeleteListen to the debate. I think you will find it to be very interesting and an eye opener to the many misinterpretations and lies of the Church.
